2009 and 2010 Wedding Seasons are Booked!

Hello to all of you wonderful people! We wanted to address an issue that we’ve been experiencing lately regarding 2009 weddings. Much to our delight, our wedding photography services is in VERY HIGH DEMAND – as of September 29, 2009 – we have 13 weddings booked for the 2009 season and 11 weddings for the 2010 season. As all of current clients know, Bill and I both have full time jobs in addition to our photography business and we are quickly learning we can’t do it all; there are just not enough hours in the day. So we are taking the necessary actions to improve the experience.
So here’s our plan: We’ve been receiving many inquiries for our wedding photography services on dates that we’ve already been booked for and we will do our best to help find a photographer for you if we are booked or become booked. So as of today, we are not accepting any more wedding bookings for 2009 or 2010. This will ensure that each and every one of our clients get the best customer service and quality product they deserve. Therefore, regarding weddings we’ve already completed for this year, please expect about 8 weeks before your photos are posted to your online gallery. We are doing our best to meet that deadline and will notify each of you when your galleries are ready.
However, for the wedding season of 2011, we are accepting dates and would welcome any inquiries and/or questions anyone has. We would be honored to be considered your wedding photographer and look forward to speaking to everyone!
Keep in mind, we are still available for Portrait and other Non-Wedding Photography in 2009 & 2010.
We would also like to thank all of our couples, families, seniors and children for making our first year such a great success! Not in a million years would we have thought to be so successful in our first year of being in business (actually not quite a year yet). Without each and every one of our clients, none of this would be possible. We have learned a great deal in such a short period of time and are taking actions towards becoming more customer service oriented and delivering a more superior product and service. We appreciate everyone hanging in there with us as we go through the process of learning, developing, and growing. We are very excited for what the future may bring!

Image Editing Productivity to Double

Now that we are nearing the completion of our first year in business, possibly we did over-book ourselves this Fall… When we started our photography business, we never expected this amount of excited clients and positive feedback in our first year. With all of this excitement and activity, some of our Client Proofing Galleries have been a little slow to be completed, and for that we apologize and want to thank you all for your patience and patronage. Both Brandy and I have learned a lot and are working towards providing a better product and service for you.
With that in mind… today is an exciting day for us, as we just ordered some new computer hardware. Once the new hardware arrives and is up and running, we will have doubled our Image Editing Productivity. This means that we will be able to get images out in a timelier manner, as well as allowing us to be a little more creative when the time feels right, instead of being under-the-gun to get the work out.
Our work environment will be more enjoyable and productive for us, but more importantly… for the client, you can expect to be that much happier with the services that we offer to you 
Again, thank you all for your patience and patronage this last 10 months. We are excited about what 2010 will have to offer.

Neal & Kari’s E-Session

Our sneak peek today is for Neal & Kari. We decided to have this little engagement session at the Arboretum in Madison, WI. It was a beautiful place, the mosquitoes were a little pesty, but overall it was a very beautiful place. We started off by just finding whatever caught our eye and had lots of fun trying out different poses. I couldn’t help but chuckle a little at how tiny Kari is to Neal… they are very cute together!!! Bill and I are very much looking forward to their June 2010 wedding!

Adam & Sarah’s Wedding : 9/5/09

This wedding was kind of special for Bill and I for the fact that this couple was one of our very first engagement session couples. Early on when we started out this year, Adam and Sarah were one of our first couples to photograph. So to finally get to photograph their wedding was a special time for us. We know it’s only been nine months since we opened our doors, but to have a couple go full circle with us is kind of a neat milestone, well at least I think so.
So on to the wedding details. Adam and Sarah were married at the beautiful Christ Memorial Lutheran Church in Fitchburg, WI. The reception was held at The Heights Banquets Center in Verona, WI. Sarah’s flowers were gorgeous and her bridesmaids were wonderfully dressed in beautiful black dresses. Of course the bride was very beautiful and her dress was gorgeous. Adam and his handsome guys were nicely decked out in black tuxes and ivory/creamed colored shirts, which went very well with the rest of the wedding party.
If I had to describe Adam & Sarah I would say that these two were a match made in heaven. They absolutely LOVE to play board games, especially Mepoles (I hope I spelled that correctly). At the reception they had a game table set up with many different kinds of games to play, the kids and adults both LOVED it! They also had made, just for this occasion, little Mepoles with their initials painted on them at every table, very cute!
Of course with my creative side lately, I’ve been trying out new things, so again, don’t be shy about letting us know if you like or don’t like the editing I’ve been doing to the photos. Thanks!!!

Dillon’s Senior Photo Session

Dillon is our first male Senior Photo client of the year. It was such a pleasure working with him, he has a great personality, a love for football, and awesome eyes! We spent a couple of hours wandering around some of our favorite spots in Janesville and believe we got some really cool shots! Here is Dillon’s sneak peek, we hope you love them!
