Once again we have had the honor of photographing one of our previous Bride & Groom’s first born child!!! It warms my heart that not only were we part of their day of becoming man and wife, but now we also have taken a small part in one of life’s miracles and have been able to photograph their first born!
Thank you Autumn & Ryan for allowing us to do this! Congratulations and enjoy your beautiful baby boy!

A little bundle of joy…

This past Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting a Maternity session for a wonderful Mommy-to-Be. She was the cutest thing ever and made my job an easy one. She brought along her little guy and husband, so we started out with a little family time. Once the “guys” left to go get something to eat, us “girls” started to play and see what we could come up with.
I have to say, I absolutely love these images! Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought Maternity pictures would be so fun and beautiful. When I was pregnant, a LONG time ago, I don’t think it ever crossed my mind to do something like this… but NOW it’s all different and pregnant women are seen as being BEAUTIFUL. What better way to celebrate and remember this most amazing time than to remember it by having a Maternity session.
This session was also my first time ever working in a real studio… thank you to everyone involved for making this happen. I was in complete awe and envious… maybe someday I’ll own something so cool! So without further ado… here’s the sneak peek.. enjoy!
The Arrival of Miss Skyler Elizabeth Marie

It is with the utmost pleasure to introduce little Miss Skyler! I had the honor of photographing her first days in this new world of hers as she was born on March 12, 2010 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, WI. Her proud parents are Daniel and Heather Shields.
Anyone reading this blog regularly may notice the names Daniel and Heather from my previous posts about their Engagement and Wedding images. Yep, that’s right!!! I had the honor of photographing and documenting not only their engagement and wedding stories but now their first born child. There is nothing sweeter than being able to preserve such important milestones in their lives for them.
I’d like to wish Heather and Daniel all the happiness in the world and to enjoy every moment spent with their new little girl. Thank you for allowing me to capture your little miracle.

A fun filled day of family photos…

During a recent visit to Neillsville, WI for a wedding we were shooting, three families contracted Bill and I to do some family photos the next day after the wedding. These three families are all great friends and got together thinking it would be nice to get some family photos done. So we definitely jumped at the chance to meet them all and hopefully put together some awesome photos for them.
We started our day out by going to the Sherry residence. It was around 9:00 a.m. when we arrived and as we were driving over there we thought to ourselves… “the fog is pretty thick, hopefully it’ll let up some.” Of course, all was good and we had wonderful weather… as soon as I met the little one, Tyler, I thought to myself… “he has the most BEAUTIFUL eyes and eyelashes I’ve ever seen!” I couldn’t resist getting some closeups of him. The whole family was wonderful and we enjoyed meeting them. Thanks guys for allowing to photograph your beautiful family, we hope you enjoy this sneak preview!!!
The next stop of the day was with the Goettl family. We arrived a little early and were able to hang out around the property and of course play with the family dog. To our amusement, their lab jumped into Bill’s lap as he opened up the car door… we totally think the dog thought he was going for a ride. LOL!!
This family was such a hoot to photograph, so much laughter and giggling, especially from the little guy! Thank you for allowing us to photograph your family, we had a great time and very much enjoyed meeting you all. Here is your sneak peek and we hope you enjoy them!
And finally, the last stop of the day was with the Gauger family. As we drove up the driveway we thought to ourselves “what a beautiful spot” and then around the bend we were met with an even more beautiful home. 4th of July Family Session

Better late than never… My family had the pleasure of spending the 4th of July weekend with the most wonderful family ever! We had such a great time with them, we felt as if we were part of the family. Our weekend took place in Pittsville, WI. We cooked out, watched fireworks, cooked out some more, and even entered the Heart & Soul 2k race. Not I, of course, but my two kids and my best friend’s husband, son and nephew. I was very proud of all of them!
So fast forwarding to the last day of the weekend, Sunday, we had the honor of photographing the family we stayed with. I have to admit I was a little nervous, because of the size of the family, but they totally put me at ease and made it fun. We did some individual group family shots, large group family shots, and fun little individual shots. So here’s a little sneak peek of the session. Thank you again everyone for having us in your homes, we had the best time!
