Adam & Allie {Engagement – Janesville Wisconsin Wedding Photographer}
Posted on October 27, 2010
I love doing engagement sessions with my Bride & Grooms! It not only gives us a chance to interact with each other with the camera around, but it also gives us the chance to get to know each other on a personal level. I get to listen to the stories of how they met, fell in love and all the plans for the wedding day. Of course, they get to see their photographer in action and hopefully this creates a sense of familiarity when the wedding day is finally here.
Adam & Allie were the best ever!! They are so much fun, so in love and great people to hang out with. I am blessed to have such awesome clients!! So without further ado.. here’s Adam & Allie’s sneak peek!

“Totally 80′s” Photoshoot… {Green Bay Wisconsin Model Photographer}
Posted on April 15, 2010
On Sunday I attended an event that was hosted by STUN Photography Group in Green Bay, WI. The theme was “Totally 80′s”… don’t you just LOVE the 80′s!!! The shoot took place at West High School in Green Bay, WI and models from all around WI joined in on the fun. The group is for the sake of fellow photographers and models to get together, network, learn, teach, share ideas and just have some good ol’ fun.
The reason I LOVE going to these types of events is because this gives me a chance to experiment with different techniques, lighting situations, and forces me to take out my creative hat and apply it. Networking and meeting other photographers is another reason these types of events are awesome… it gives us a chance to talk shop, learn from each other and potentially start great friendships.
All of the following images were set up, posed and lighted by myself, that’s another reason why I attend this particular groups’ events, they just set the time and place and we, photographers, do all the rest. I had a great time and feel this was great timing to get me back into the swing of things for the upcoming wedding season… yep, it begins this Saturday!!! I’m so excited… and nervous. But I believe it’s good to be nervous, if I wasn’t, then I think something might be wrong.
So without further ado… here are some images from Sunday. ENJOY!

Fabulous Wedding Workshop
Posted on February 23, 2010
So as I am always one to want to learn as much as I can, I attended an all day Wedding Workshop in Chicago, IL. During this workshop I learned fun new techniques for lighting, posing, and interaction with our couples. The models used during this workshop were absolutely fabulous and wonderful! I can’t wait to apply everything we’ve been learning to this seasons weddings. Here’s a couple images I took from the workshop, I hope you enjoy!

Nina… Our Protector.
Posted on February 2, 2010
With the New Year upon us and moving too fast already, I told myself I would write a little every week. Not just about weddings, photography and the like, but also a little about who we are, in hopes it helps define who we are and the life we live.
So with that said, today’s blog is about our Protector, Nina. She is our 6 year old German Shepard. She became a part of this family when she was just 5 months old. Since day one she has been the best dog ever. Don’t get me wrong, she definitely has tested us, seen how far she can push us, and has definitely been called a “bad dog” every so often. But even though those times come and go she has never let us down. She watches over my children and warns anyone coming to the house that she is here. Her bark is a ferocious one, often times making people think twice about even approaching her, but behind that bark is the most sweetest, loyal, and loving dog ever.
So today, my tribute goes out to our Protector, Nina. We love you!
