Brooke ~ Milton HS Senior {Milton Wisconsin High School Senior Photographer}

The rain subsided for the day and became the perfect conditions in which to photograph Brooke for her HS Senior session! This was a girl after my own heart! She was fun, sweet, playful and willing to do whatever. We did a very special photograph in remembrance of her Mother who has passed due to Breast Cancer. She wanted a way in which to always remember her and bring awareness at the same time. Bless her heart.

I love it when my clients personalities are incorporated into their photos. Brooke is an avid Bears fan!!! GO BEARS!!! So wearing the jersey is such a fun idea! She also LOVES fashion, she brought her game on that too! And I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE she brought her prom dress! What a fun way to wear a beautiful dress more than once.

Jake ~ Milton HS ~ Class of 2011 {Milton Wisconsin High School Senior Photographer}

The day called for rain, rain and more rain… I knew of a great place to try and asked Jake to trust me and bear the weather with me. He did such a great job and I think we got some really cool shots! Jake is very musically talented and I hope he follows his dreams, wherever they may take him.

Jacob ~ Ft. Atkinson HS ~ Class of 2011 {High School Senior Wisconsin Photographer}

I love it when I get the chance to work with more of my wedding couples families! Jacob is Amanda’s brother… which we photographed Amanda & Bryan’s wedding is July of this year. The wedding was a such a blast and gave me a chance to get to know Jacob a little more. By the time we came out to his house to photograph him, it felt like we were visiting an old friend.

Jacob is a Senior at Fort Atkinson High School in WI. He has such a great personality and is great guy! We wish him the best of luck in whatever adventures come his way! Congratulations Jacob!!!

Meet Kim… {Hish School Senior – Janesville Wisconsin Photographer}

I love to work with HS Seniors!!! It’s fun, different, and most of the time my creative juices just flow… Kim was such a great girl! Not only does she play Basketball, she’s in Track as well. I had lots of fun spending some time with her and getting to know her. I wish her the best of luck and hopes she enjoys her Senior year in High School…

“Totally 80′s” Photoshoot… {Green Bay Wisconsin Model Photographer}

On Sunday I attended an event that was hosted by STUN Photography Group in Green Bay, WI. The theme was “Totally 80′s”… don’t you just LOVE the 80′s!!! The shoot took place at West High School in Green Bay, WI and models from all around WI joined in on the fun. The group is for the sake of fellow photographers and models to get together, network, learn, teach, share ideas and just have some good ol’ fun.

The reason I LOVE going to these types of events is because this gives me a chance to experiment with different techniques, lighting situations, and forces me to take out my creative hat and apply it. Networking and meeting other photographers is another reason these types of events are awesome… it gives us a chance to talk shop, learn from each other and potentially start great friendships.

All of the following images were set up, posed and lighted by myself, that’s another reason why I attend this particular groups’ events, they just set the time and place and we, photographers, do all the rest. I had a great time and feel this was great timing to get me back into the swing of things for the upcoming wedding season… yep, it begins this Saturday!!! I’m so excited… and nervous. But I believe it’s good to be nervous, if I wasn’t, then I think something might be wrong.
