Another BEAUTIFUL wedding!!! Lyndsey was absolutely gorgeous and Daniel was quite handsome himself. The day started off a little gloomy so we decided to get some shots in before the ceremony began. Sure enough, after the ceremony, the skies opened up and we found ourselves under a bunch of umbrellas. But did this stop us from getting the most amazing images ever??? NO, it surely did not… we embraced the rain and had some fun with it.

Nate & Sarah {Reedsburg and WI Dells Wisconsin Wedding Photographer}

It’s been a while since my last post (so watch out, a whole lot more coming!!!)… so what better way than to start it up again for 2011 with the beautiful wedding of Nate & Sarah!

Nate & Sarah’s wedding was one of those weddings where a person just feels right at home with everyone around them. I was honored to have been one of the photographers to shoot this wedding along side my friend Erin. The venue was amazing and the wedding was gorgeous!

Chris & Ashley {Jefferson Wisconsin Wedding Photographer}

I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end the wedding season of 2010. Chris and Ashely’s wedding was amazing, fun, and beautiful. I love when my couple’s personal interests are brought into the day, as this allows a way to personalize the day and make it unique to them. WhenI first met Chris and Ashley, they told me they raced stock cars and I thought that was way cool! So immediately my thoughts were rolling about how to incorporate that into their images. As you will see from the images… we definitely had a great time using them! Did I mention this wedding party was a fun?? Oh.. why yes I did!!!

Brandon & Rachel {Baraboo Wisconsin Wedding Photographer}

We always tend to arrive a little early to the weddings we photograph… to scope out the area, take some shots of the church, get inspired… but when Rachel showed up that was all the inspiration we needed. She was all smiles, cool, calm, and collected. Looking at her reminded me of why I love to photograph weddings.

The ceremony took place at the GORGEOUS St. Joseph Catholic Parish in Baraboo, WI. I’m not exaggerating when I say GORGEOUS, it was really GORGEOUS! The photo ops were endless and I was like a little girl with stars in my eyes. The lighting was beautiful and hard not to take advantage of.

Weddings are full of emotion and this one was no exception. But it wasn’t during the ceremony that pulled on my heart strings this time; it was during the beginning of the receiving line that I sensed a tear rolling my cheek. At the moment when Brandon saw his Mom walk underneath the threshold to come greet him, it was a moment only a Mother and Son could share, a moment where a Mother has to let go and the son is now a man with a wife.

After everything was wrapped up at the ceremony site, we all headed out to do some more photos. Our first stop was at a park, where Erin and I were able to steal Brandon & Rachel away for a little alone time and awesome photo op. I just LOVE it when we get a chance to do this!!

Next, we headed for downtown Baraboo. We found the most FABULOUS alley and had a blast taking photos in it. The wedding party was fun and up for anything, so when Erin suggested lifting Brandon & Rachel up over their heads, like a mosh pit, there was no hesitation. I absolutely fell in the love with the location and had so much fun!

The reception was held at the Wintergreen Resort & Conference Center in WI Dells. Fall flowers, warm colors and twinkling lights filled the room. The candy buffet and personalized Root Beer bottles were a hit and lots of laughter could be heard coming from friends and family. It was a perfect ending to a perfect day.

Jacob & Ashlee {Janesville Wisconsin Wedding Photographer}

We walk into Ashlee’s Mom’s house… there is a lot of hustle and bustle going on, typical wedding day stuff. We immediately take out our cameras and start shooting while the activities continue on. Ashlee walks into the kitchen and immediately has a huge smile on her face… I could tell from the smile on her face and the look in her eye, she was a woman who was going to marry the man of her dreams in just a couple of hours….

The ceremony at St. Williams Catholic Church in Janesville, WI was a beautiful one. The church has beautiful lighting, within a beautiful setting. The reception was held at the Janesville Country Club, which was also an amazing place. It was decorated so beautifully with dessert cakes on each table.
